What does "all-inclusive" mean for your charters?

Accepted Answer

All food and non-alcoholic beverages prepared by our chef, accommodation on board, fuel for all itinerary sailing, use of all water sports equipment, snorkelling and basic dive gear, and port fees within the agreed itinerary. Excluded: airfares, transfers to/from the vessel, alcoholic beverages (available at cost), premium dive equipment rental, and harbour fees at select commercial ports.

How far in advance should I book?

Accepted Answer

Peak season (June–August) typically books out 9–12 months ahead. Shoulder season requires 3–6 months notice. We recommend contacting us as early as possible to secure your preferred dates and vessel. Last-minute availability occasionally appears — follow our Instagram or ask us to add you to the waitlist.

What is the minimum charter duration?

Accepted Answer

The minimum charter is four nights / five days. Most guests choose 7–10 nights to do justice to a single destination. To combine two destinations (e.g. Komodo and Raja Ampat) we recommend 12–14 nights minimum.

Do I need to be a diver to enjoy the charter?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely not. Non-divers are as well catered for as our diving guests. Every itinerary includes outstanding snorkelling, beach time, cultural village visits, hiking and kayaking. Many guests complete their Open Water certification during the trip — we carry PADI-certified instructors on all vessels.

How is food handled for guests with dietary requirements?

Our chefs are experienced with all common dietary requirements including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal and common allergens. Please notify us at the time of booking. We source ingredients at each port of call and can accommodate even complex requirements with advance notice.

What is the best time of year to charter in Komodo?

Accepted Answer

April to November is optimal for Komodo — calm seas, visibility often exceeding 20 metres, and reliable manta ray sightings. December to March sees more rainfall and stronger swells but the landscape turns dramatically green and crowd levels drop significantly.

What safety equipment and protocols do you follow?

Accepted Answer

All vessels meet full SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea) requirements. Equipment includes EPIRB, life rafts sized for all guests and crew, AED defibrillator, full first aid kit, satellite communication, and SSB radio. Our captains hold internationally recognised maritime licences. A comprehensive safety briefing is conducted at the start of every charter.

What is the cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Cancellations more than 90 days before departure: full refund of deposit. 60–90 days: 50% of total charter fee retained. Less than 60 days: 100% of total charter fee retained. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical evacuation and baggage. We are happy to recommend insurers who specialise in yacht charter coverage.
